This photo (2017) is from one of our workshops at the Catering Institute. - These gatherings were successful because of the people that attended them March 2024 will mark 5 years since our exit to ezCater who acquired our company, MonkeySoft Solutions, an ezCater Company. I am so proud of what this company has become and the legacy that remains. - the world's largest restaurant brands are using this catering ecosystem, of which our work for more than two decades was essential. - that result feels amazing! so grateful to Mo Asgari for his support. This fortunate event gave me the gift of time, to refocus on my health and to really think about what I want to spend my time doing. My conclusion is that there are ALOT of things that I like to spend my time doing! And I am doing them! But.... There remained a gap these last 5 years. It was the connection to the people. So many of you, who afforded me the opportunity of doing this work in the first place. - sharing of ideas, solving problems, having thoughtful conversations, making deep personal connections - that's the stuff.... adding value, visiting with old friends, and making new ones. Being part of a movement. Change makers. Thats' what it was. We were in the middle of it. We didn't know at the time. We were just trying to be of service to this community, always. That is what I missed. Being in service to this community. Today, I remain active with both the Off Premises Growth Academy and in my role as CSO Lunchbox - It's working out great. Education remains alive and well in my thoughts, and I am working on bringing some new experiences forward in 2024 - I am grateful to Nabeel 🦄for the opportunity he has provided me, to re-emerge doing the work that I love to do, while simultaneously helping to influence and shape both Lunchbox and the next generation of #catering in our industry. There is alot of work to do and I can tell you that strategic alignment with catering is everything - all the way through our industry. Private Equity, Suppliers, Operators should all take an interest here. There is a $124 Billion industry that needs you.
