Project Feature: Iceland Trekking Cabins, Iceland We’re excited to share about the Iceland Trekking Cabins Architecture Competition, in collaboration with CDS NORD Property Developers. The challenge was to design innovative, resilient cabins that enhance access to Iceland’s remote trekking routes. Our design, Vigvisir Trekking Cabins, draws on Iceland’s tradition of humility and blends seamlessly into the landscape. When conditions become dangerous, the cabins reveal themselves with a beacon of light and smoke, offering hope and guidance to trekkers in peril. Proud of the work our multidisciplinary team at Nadi Group put into this project—combining landscape architecture, urban design, and interior design to create a meaningful connection between humans and nature. #Architecture #DesignInnovation #Sustainability #IcelandTrekkingCabins #NadiGroup #LandscapeDesign #Adventure #OutdoorDesign #BeaconsOfHope

Designing for accessibility goes beyond compliance—it’s about creating spaces that work for everyone. From intuitive wayfinding to adaptable layouts and inclusive features, designing with accessibility in mind fosters a sense of belonging and ensures that everyone, regardless of ability, can engage with and navigate their environment.

As architects, urban designers, and landscape architects, we're constantly making decisions that impact how spaces function, feel, and endure over time. In your opinion, which design aspect should take priority when creating a building? 🔹 Facade Design – How the building looks and engages with its surroundings. 🔹 Space Utilization – How efficiently the space is used and organized. 🔹 Structural Innovation – Pushing the boundaries of materials and engineering. 🔹 Environmental Impact – Designing with sustainability and the planet in mind. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in shaping the spaces we live and work in. We'd love to hear your thoughts—cast your vote and share why you think this aspect matters most. #Architecture #UrbanDesign #Sustainability #BuildingDesign #Innovation #DesignMatters #ArchitectureCommunity

Project Feature: Rose Lake Green Court At Nadi Group, we love creating spaces that inspire and connect communities. One of our most recent projects, Rose Lake Green Court, is a great example of this mission in action! The Vision: Rose Lake Green Court began with the idea of designing a centrally located, sculptural water feature that would serve as both a neighborhood beacon and a recreational splash pad for the Bridgwater community—a new and growing neighborhood in south Winnipeg. Project Highlights: At the heart of the project is a stunning fountain sitting at the top of a hill. The fully accessible splash park allows children to play safely through vertical jets of water, creating an inviting, fun environment for families. From the plaza, we extended branching paths to connect the fountain to every corner of the Bridgwater community, enhancing connectivity and walkability. To add a touch of magic, we incorporated LED lighting throughout the plaza, creating an elegant, dreamlike atmosphere that carries the beauty of the fountain into the evening hours. Our Role at Nadi Group: From conceptual design to final construction, Nadi Group provided landscape architecture services throughout every phase of the project—schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and contract administration. We're proud to have helped bring this unique space to life! It’s a thrill to see a project like Rose Lake Green Court come together and offer both beauty and functionality to the Bridgwater community. #LandscapeArchitecture #UrbanDesign #CommunitySpaces #Sustainability #WaterFeature #Winnipeg #Bridgwater #NadiGroup #InnovativeDesign

Project Feature: Conroe, Texas Houston, Texas, and the surrounding areas are rapidly growing, and with that comes an increasing demand for affordable housing. We’re proud to have contributed to addressing that need with our project in Conroe—just north of Houston. Our Role at Nadi Group: Our team played a key role in the planning and design of this project, providing a comprehensive solution that included site and amenity planning, landscape design, and conceptual renderings to support sales and marketing efforts. Project Highlights: Conroe’s topography presented unique challenges, with the need to work around existing utility infrastructure and access routes for large maintenance vehicles servicing both functional and abandoned oil well sites. The design team focused on creating an economically feasible plan while ensuring practicality for the community and its infrastructure needs. A key challenge was balancing the client's desire for higher density with the need to foster a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents. After thoughtful planning, a mixed lot strategy was chosen—combining larger and smaller homes to offer an affordable yet appealing housing option. It’s incredibly rewarding to contribute to the development of spaces that provide real value to communities, and we’re excited to see this project move forward! #AffordableHousing #UrbanPlanning #LandscapeDesign #CommunityDevelopment #ConroeTX #HoustonGrowth #NadiGroup
