Our team recently had the honor of visiting Canuck Place Children's Hospice to present a donation of $6,000, raised through our annual Princess Afternoon Tea event. This contribution helps Canuck Place continue its impactful work, providing pediatric palliative care to children and families across British Columbia. We are proud to support such a meaningful cause and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the event, making this donation possible. Fairmont Vancouver Airport is committed to implementing sustainable practices that lessens environmental impacts throughout every guest journey. ⁠ ⁠ Since the installation of our Lobby Water Refill Station on March 13, 2024, we have proudly provided 369 gallons of safe, filtered drinking water to guests from all over the globe. This equates to approximately 2,794, 500 ml single-use water bottles that have been eliminated from entering the surrounding community and local landfills. ⁠💧 ⁠ These initiatives are part of our larger dedication to sustainable hospitality. Step into a whimsical world of Wonderland as Fairmont Vancouver Airport hosts its eighth annual Princess Tea on Friday, July 12, where every little prince and princess is invited to indulge in a magical afternoon in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Since its inception in 2016, the annual Princess Tea has raised over $60,000 with the help of the community’s support, with all proceeds benefiting Canuck Place Children’s Hospice to help in providing pediatric palliative care to children and families facing life-threatening illnesses.
