A really great year-end reflection from Ratio.City, a division of Esri Canada. Congratulations on a remarkable 2024—looking forward to seeing what we can do in 2025!
We're thrilled to share our incredible progress in addressing Canada's housing crisis throughout 2024! Some remarkable highlights from our journey this year: - Strengthened our partnership with Esri Canada's Planning and Housing Division - Named semi-finalists in the prestigious CMHC Level-Up competition - Expanded our coverage to 20+ new municipalities - Launched our new Projects feature for streamlined workflow - Hosted successful industry events including our first in-person conference in Toronto None of this would have been possible without our amazing team and leadership who consistently push the boundaries of innovation. We're proud of how we're leveraging technology to tackle housing challenges, centralizing planning data, and uncovering new opportunities for residential development. As we enter 2025, we're energized to continue our mission of transforming city building across Canada. A huge thank you to our dedicated team, partners, and customers who make our work meaningful every day! #UrbanPlanning #HousingCrisis #CityDevelopment #CanadianHousing #RealEstate #AffordableHousing #Housing

Please join our Victoria people in celebrating our new Victoria office space at COAST (Centre for Ocean Applied Sustainable Technologies)!
GEOINT Security Risk Management professional | With clarity and empathy, I advise clients on exploiting location intelligence for their strategic, tactical, & operational missions | CAF Army Veteran
We had our first meeting at the new Esri Canada - Victoria office space for the Island folks. From a design aesthetic perspective, it’s a gorgeous modern and collaborative open office 2.0 workspace; with exposed wood beams, clean white lines and glass separators, it’s located in a rapidly modernizing part of town. What makes this space particularly unique is that we are located inside the COAST (Centre for Ocean Applied Sustainable Technologies) Innovation Hub Building - exposing us to the stories of inspiration and smart innovation in the work that the centre does. This also give us opportunities to share what we do with the various member organizations as well. There’s also an arcade to the rear of this building so, you know…

Check out this great map by Darren Jones featured in the 2024 Map Book. It shows areas around Kamloops, BC that are at risk of infestation by Douglas fir beetle. "Naturally occurring bark beetles can cause widespread mortality to mature forests during outbreaks. This map shows areas of forest around Kamloops, British Columbia, which are at risk of infestation by Douglas fir beetle.
