  • Bring in 2025 with a 15-minute fireworks show on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at a family-friendly time of 6:30 p.m. at Ed Eggerer Athletic Field! Important information about getting to the event: 🎇Shuttle service: Free, accessible shuttles provided by Airdrie Transit will run from 5–8 p.m. Pickup is at City Hall, with drop-off along East Lake Crescent. The shuttles are stroller-friendly and the first 200 riders will receive a light-up foam cheer stick! 🎇Parking: On-site parking at Genesis Place is limited and will close once full. Overflow parking is available at Ron Ebbeson Arena. Please visit airdrie.ca/newyearseve for all event-related information.

  • #ThingsToDo at Inspire: Cultural ceremonies Inspired by feedback from engagement sessions with the Indigenous community, the Round Room will be a welcoming circular space in Airdrie that reflects Indigenous culture through artwork and materials. The circular design of this 700 square foot space, common to many cultures globally, makes also this room inviting to diverse cultural groups along with having a ventilation system made to support the use of traditional medicines and smudging ceremonies safely.
