Great leadership relies on a foundation of truth—honest feedback that sharpens our thinking and keeps us grounded. Yet, for CEOs, that truth can often be hard to come by. Not every idea is flawless, and not every strategy is perfect. To overcome "CEO disease"—the tendency to be insulated from criticism—it’s essential to surround yourself with people who are unafraid to provide candid feedback. These voices are invaluable, helping leaders refine, adapt, and grow in ways they might not see alone. At CEO Global Network, we believe leadership thrives on authenticity and self-awareness. Who in your circle has the courage to speak the truth, even when it’s tough? Their insights could be your most powerful tool for growth and success. #Leadership #CEOAdvice #GrowthMindset #TruthInLeadership #SelfAwareness #LeadershipDevelopment

Being the "smartest person in the room" might feel rewarding in the short term, but it can limit growth and innovation. True leadership thrives when you’re surrounded by individuals who challenge, stretch, and inspire you to grow. In the video below, our CEO, John Wilson, shares a powerful insight from a conversation with a CEO who made a transformative choice: to seek out a room where he wasn’t the smartest person. The impact was profound—his perspective widened, his leadership advanced, and his business flourished in ways he never anticipated. At CEO Global Network, we believe continuous learning isn’t just a personal responsibility—it’s a leadership imperative. The right room can spark growth for both leaders and their teams. #LeadershipGrowth #NeverStopLearning #ChallengeYourself #CEOAdvice #LifelongLearning
