Sustain Pathways to Progress for Black Youth This Giving Tuesday!   At the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals, we’ve made incredible strides this year, strengthening our foundation and expanding opportunities for Black youth across Canada.   85% of our program graduates remain employed long after completion—proof that investing in Black youth benefits not only individuals but also the broader economy.   Our 5-Year Strategic Plan focuses on deepening impact and stability. We’re excited to announce open positions on the Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) to guide our program delivery and help shape the future of Black professionals in key industries! If you're passionate about making a difference in the careers of young Black professionals and ensuring our programs align with current industry standards, we want to hear from you! 💼 IAC Overview: The IAC will provide strategic guidance to CEE’s program leaders in Finance, Entertainment, Tech, and Social Impact & Justice Reform. You’ll audit our programs, recommend certifications, advise on emerging trends, and support employability for CEE members. 💡 Industry Focus Areas: Finance: Programs include Insurance, Mortgage Exploration, and Financial Literacy. Entertainment: Programs like E-Trades and Styling help develop behind-the-scenes talent. Tech: Programs like VFX and Tech 2.0 provide industry certification opportunities. Social Impact & Justice Reform: Initiatives focused on addressing systemic inequities and driving sustainable change. 📝 Positions Available: Industry Professionals (3): Currently working or recently retired from the industry. Industry Educators (2): Teaching in an institution or program within the industry. Industry Recruiters (1): Talent acquisition specialists or hiring managers.
