"Continuing its leadership in sustainability, MDH’s Northcross Commerce Center Phase I and II were developed using CarbonCure-based concrete. The CarbonCure technology introduces post-industrial carbon dioxide into concrete, yielding a low-carbon concrete that provides, on average, a 4-6% reduction to the Global Warming Potential. MDH Partners is among the first industrial developers to adopt CarbonCure-based concrete." citybiz Charlotte spotlights MDH Partners' commitment to sustainability and its use of CarbonCure concrete, recently completing construction of the 700,000 square foot Northcross Commerce Center in the Huntersville neighborhood of Charlotte: https://lnkd.in/gMRc4umV #CarbonCure #MDHPartners #GreenBuilding

Making Concrete That Matters.
About us
Concrete That Matters: CarbonCure Technologies is on a mission to make concrete a climate solution, reducing embodied carbon emissions in the built environment and transforming concrete plants into a worldwide network of carbon removal factories. Across the global concrete industry, CarbonCure is scaling an integrated decarbonization platform, offering concrete producers a suite of hardware, software and services to reduce the carbon footprint of their concrete products, reduce their production costs and meet the surging demand for green building materials without compromising performance. CarbonCure’s technologies are retrofitted into concrete plants without disrupting operations and seamlessly integrate with existing batching processes. CarbonCure injects captured CO₂ across the concrete manufacturing process, with commercialized solutions for ready mix concrete, precast concrete and reclaimed water. Upon injection, CO₂ immediately mineralizes in concrete, becoming permanently embedded. Even if a structure is later demolished, the nanoparticles of mineralized carbon will not return to the atmosphere. This mineralization also enables producers to reduce the amount of cement needed for each batch of concrete. Carbon XPRIZE Grand Prize winner, Cleantech 100 Hall of Fame Company and a category leader in low carbon concrete technologies and carbon removal, CarbonCure delivers a true win-win, with climate benefits for the world and economic benefits for concrete producers in one of the world's hardest-to-decarbonize industries. CarbonCure Cares about our hometowns.🧡 This holiday season, we’ve made financial contributions and completed or pledged volunteer hours to two wonderful charities offering services to the hungry and unhoused. With our Headquarters in Halifax, we have proudly donated $5,000 to Feed Nova Scotia through the CBC Radio Make The Season Kind campaign. CarbonCure supports the food bank’s mission to increase food security in Halifax through distribution, education and collaboration. And we look forward to sending 20 volunteers to sort donations in the Feed NS warehouse in the new year! On Canada’s west coast, with Vancouver being another CarbonCure hub, we’ve made a donation to Our Place Society, supporting the region’s most vulnerable residents. Team CarbonCure volunteers were also recently joined by our dedicated former Board Chair David Green and one of our caring CarbonCure concrete producer partners, Trio Redi-Mix (Ralmax Group of Companies) GM Stephen Hay, serving a record setting 420 meals at Our Place! No matter where you are or how you celebrate, we wish you and yours a very happy holiday season! #CarbonCure #FoodSecurity #MakeTheSeasonKind #HappyHolidays

As part of our CarbonCure Cares campaign this holiday season, CarbonCure has proudly donated $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity International and several regional chapters of Habitat for Humanity around the world. We've made these contributions in honour of our pioneering concrete producer partners, their unwavering commitment to sustainability and strong support for our mission. Habitat for Humanity’s mission to create affordable, sustainable housing aligns beautifully with our core values. And we are very glad to advance Habitat's impactful work in the name of our industry partners. Many already locally champion the organization's work through financial contributions, volunteer hours and even donations of concrete foundations for new homes. Each day, CarbonCure concrete producers make Concrete That Matters for a greener, more resilient future. And with great generosity, they are also making a difference in their communities. It's the true spirit of the season, all year long. #CarbonCure #Concrete #HabitatForHumanity

“In our data centers, we're making significant strides in reducing embodied carbon & are testing alternative materials like slag-rich cement & calcined clays, to potentially reduce the carbon footprint further. So far, we’ve built 36 data centers with 20% lower-carbon concrete, and we’re now requiring that all new data centers have 35% lower embodied carbon.” Amazon is leading the charge on private sector sustainability, striving toward its own net-zero commitment and driving an ecosystem of corporate action through The Climate Pledge. This includes rallying pledge signatories around solving the embodied carbon challenge and sending clear market signals through its own procurement of lower carbon building materials. At CarbonCure, we are especially grateful for Amazon’s support as an investor and we’re proud that it is one of the top end users of CarbonCure concrete across dozens of sites, including data centers, warehouses and its campuses in Arlington and Nashville.
