Reading this recent CNN article about Americans moving abroad after elections got me reflecting on the incredible shifts we've seen in how families think about their lives, values, and priorities 🤔 Whether motivated by politics, lifestyle aspirations, or a desire for adventure, the decision to embrace a new way of life can be truly transformative. At Boundless Life, we've had the privilege of supporting families on this journey—not just for a vacation but for a meaningful, immersive experience. It’s not just about the where but also about the how: 🌟How do you create a sense of community? 🌟How do you ensure continuity in your children’s education while they explore the world? 🌟How do you connect with a new culture while still feeling supported? For many, this choice is about looking for something richer— a life where work and family align with their deepest values. 🧳✨ Have you ever considered living abroad, even for a short while? What would be the most important factor for you to take that leap? Let’s spark a conversation! https://lnkd.in/gUxwyxs7

“Before fully committing their family to expat life, West and her husband decided to try life abroad for three months through a startup called Boundless Life. The organization offers families fully furnished private apartments, co-working spaces and educational centers for children in a variety of locations, including Bali and Tuscany, per its website. West opted for Portugal.” Read more of Cara and her family’s story and how Boundless Life was the first stepping stone into their journey as an Expat Family in CNBC’s article: https://lnkd.in/dgvpQYUe #boundlesslife

"That's a wrap!" or "Another one for the record books!" is how most of my feed read this weekend as last week, many of my colleagues, customers, partners, and friends were busy talking and learning about the various innovations and announcements coming out of #reInvent2024. This year's event showcased how #AI and #MachineLearning have become an integral backbone across #AWS. From powerful new compute instances for large-scale training, to specialized foundational models for industry use-cases, the focus was on giving builders and businesses everything they need to launch sophisticated AI solutions faster, more securely, and at greater scale. But as I hinted last week, my family and I were NOT bound for #LasVegas. Instead, we continued our winter travels across #Europe in search of more Christmas markets, more great food, and more magic of the holiday season! That resulted in a two-for-one special this week, as we split our time between #Vienna and #Bratislava! Our journey through Europe has been filled with unexpected delights. By pure happenstance, we met another Boundless Life family at a playground in Budapest, and we've been on a similar path ever since. It's amazing to be part of such a close community of #TravelingFamilies with shared views and values, all with kids of similar age and a passion for travel and experiences. Having dinner with them in Budapest, Vienna, and this week's location (more on that next week!) has made the unfamiliar seem familiar, which can make all the difference when traveling with kids. A highlight of our time in Vienna was discovering an ice rink where our kids – 9 and 4 – had their first skating experience. By the end of the week, they were carving around the adult course much better than many of the adults we saw! This newfound passion is something we'll definitely lean into for the rest of our trip. On the professional front, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Adam Hamsik, co-founder and CEO of Labyrinth Labs, which was named the AWS #CEE Consulting Partner of the Year at re:Invent! Adam was not only a fantastic host while we were in #Slovakia, but shared incredible insights regarding the Central and Eastern European market and how AWS and its partners are delivering transformational change across all sectors and verticals. I can't wait to see what the Labyrinth team does next! As we continue our #TravelWithAWS journey, I'm constantly amazed by the seamless blend of work and family life (the time zone delta helps!), and the opportunities to connect with inspiring professionals and fellow travelers alike. Stay tuned for our next stop! 🇦🇹 Vielen Dank an unsere österreichischen Freunde für die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und die unvergesslichen Erlebnisse in Wien! 🇸🇰 Ďakujeme našim slovenským priateľom za srdečné privítanie a skvelý čas strávený v Bratislave! #WorkLifeHarmony #PublicSector #CloudComputing #DigitalTransformation #FamilyTravel Amazon Web Services (AWS) Amazon Colletta & Co.

It’s happening! Boundless Life is going to Latin America with our newest destination in La Barra, Uruguay 🇺🇾 It’s really inspiring, and humbling, to be part of such a beautiful community-driven project and seeing it grow and mature in the pace that it does. Can’t wait to launch this new location, this new continent, and hopefully many more after that 🚀 See you out there!
WE'VE LAUNCHED OUR 7TH DESTINATION! Expanding into new regions is never easy, especially when you’re a global company with a mission to create deeply immersive, place-based experiences for families. As we grow, each new destination presents unique challenges. Our first Latin American location was highly requested by families, but moving from Europe and Asia to a completely new region meant navigating unfamiliar logistical, cultural, and operational terrain. We’ve always prided ourselves on creating a seamless experience for families wherever we are, and opening in Latin America brought a new level of complexity. From understanding local regulations and building community partnerships to finding the right spaces and balancing time zones, it required careful planning and a lot of flexibility. But despite the challenges, we made it happen—because our families wanted it. They’re craving the richness of Latin American culture, the beauty of its landscapes, and the opportunity to build a global lifestyle with a new region to explore. And that’s why we are always pushing boundaries, to provide our communities with the best of what the world has to offer. This cohort, Trailblazers were tasked with creating prototypes for local businesses in Sanur— they presented their prototypes and then brought these visions to life at R Plastics, using 100% recycled plastics sourced from Bali. These were creative designs aimed at addressing real-world challenges faced by these businesses. Innovation meets sustainability, powered by young minds and community collaboration. This experience not only builds hands-on skills but also empowers students to create meaningful, lasting impact. How do you think this type of learning will shape their ability to make a difference in the future?⬇️
