𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 As we look toward 2025 with goals, dreams, and carefully laid plans, I find myself reflecting on 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱. 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘴 16:9 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴, "𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨, 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙨." → It’s a powerful reminder that while we are called to dream, plan, and work, it is God who knows the best path for us—one that leads to growth, purpose, and His ultimate best. → Sometimes, the "no" or "not yet" can feel like a setback, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; → He cares about who we are becoming along the way. → He knows how to grow us, prepare us, and surround us with the right people to fulfill the destiny He’s placed on our lives. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅? → Trusting in His timing and letting Him lead. → When we put God at the center—when we seek Him first (Matthew 6:33)—He provides everything we need for the journey. Not just the tangible things, but 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘁 Why is being authentic so tough? ↳ Because authenticity requires courage. ↳ It demands that we quiet the noise of societal expectations, peer pressure, and Instagram-worthy goals to ask ourselves one simple (but scary) question: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁? ↳ It’s far easier to settle. ↳ To set goals or resolutions that reflect what others think we should do. ↳ To aim for achievements that feel safe, familiar, or universally praised. ↳ But when we do that, we’re not just playing it safe—we’re trading away our own dreams for someone else’s vision. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳! → 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 “y𝗲𝘀.” Joseph wasn’t even planning to stay married to Mary until he had his own angelic encounter (Matthew 1:19-20). → A “just man,” Joseph had decided to divorce her quietly to protect her from public shame and potential harm, as Jewish law at the time dictated severe consequences for a woman found pregnant out of wedlock, even stoning. → Their betrothal was as binding as marriage, and this situation brought their purity and integrity into question under both Jewish and Roman law. ↳ Yet, despite the risks, despite the whispers, despite the potential cost—𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘀. ↳ They 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱 to lead them every step of the way, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱. 𝘈𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩-𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘶𝘱𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺. ↳ Saying 𝘆𝗲𝘀 to the vision God places on your heart often means stepping into uncharted, uncomfortable, and even countercultural territory. ↳ It means enduring scrutiny, misunderstanding, and risk.
