  • This year, thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve achieved some incredible milestones at the Alzheimer Society of Canada: 💙 20,000 participants united nationwide during the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, raising an astonishing $6.2 million to support vital programs and services. ⛳ Extendicare’s 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic raised over $200,000 to fund transformative research. 📘 We published Landmark 2: The Many Faces of Dementia in Canada, offering valuable insights into the demographic, social, and economic impacts of dementia. 🔬 Together with generous donors, we funded $5.7 million in groundbreaking research for a brighter tomorrow. 🩺 Launched the National Dementia Guidelines to empower medical professionals to better support those living with dementia. 🌱 Created the Young Caregivers Hub, a space offering information, resources, and community for young caregivers across Canada. Every step, every swing, every effort makes a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
