Advancing Inclusive Education through EMIS Training Plan International Nepal, in partnership with BEE-Group,Banke,Banke Unesco Club, and Radha Krishna Tharu Jana Sewa Kendra, organized a two-day training in Bardiya to update early-screened children's data in the school-based Education Management Information System (EMIS). Before this training, teachers had been trained to identify students' functional limitations using the Washington set of questions and conducted screenings in their schools. This training focused on equipping them to upload the screened data into EMIS, a vital step toward inclusive education. Facilitated by Dipak Majhi (Section Officer, Inclusive Education Section, CEHRD) and Shushil Poudel (EMIS Section, CEHRD), the training brought together EMIS focal persons from 16 schools, education officers from 8 municipalities, and representatives from local and national bodies. This initiative bridges local efforts with national systems, enabling local governments to access data-based conditional grants and strengthening evidence-based advocacy for inclusive education in Nepal. #InclusiveEducation #EducationForAll #PlanInternationalNepal
