Multi-agency recruitment is hurting your search. Especially for niche positions. Many companies think multiple #recruitment agencies will give them access to a larger pool of #candidates. And this often leads to overlapping candidate outreach, directly impacting your quality of interactions and damaging your #brand reputation. I believe, while a multi-agency approach may work for high-volume roles, it’s ineffective for niche or senior positions. Here’s why: 🌱 Limited Candidate Pool: Niche roles have fewer candidates. Multiple agencies contacting the same people can make your company seem desperate, dissuading interest. 🌿 Diluted Messaging: With many agencies, key information gets lost, and recruiters struggle to effectively sell the opportunity. 🌳 Time & Engagement: Managing multiple agencies takes more time (and other resources), risking delays and losing top candidates to other opportunities. So, in my experience, the best results come from working with a smaller, trusted group of agencies or recruiters — even better if on an exclusive or retained basis. That's something we have been prioritising at Spotted for some time now, and we’ll definitely stick to it!
