Four Paradigm Shifts, One Continuing Mission Since our founding, the SoftBank Group has believed that technology is the key to building a more connected, empowered, and joyful world. 🎉STATION Ai Grand Opening On October 31, 2024, STATION Ai, Japan's largest startup support hub located in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, officially celebrated its grand opening! Launched by SoftBank Corp., a subsidiary of SoftBank Group Corp., the facility began operations earlier on October 1, 2024. At the ceremony, Junichi Miyakawa, President & CEO of SoftBank Corp., expressed his hopes: “We’re committed to creating an ecosystem at STATION Ai that involves local businesses, financial institutions, and government agencies to support startups. My hope is that the startups emerging from STATION Ai will become leaders of Japan in the next 10 to 20 years.” Hirotaka Sahashi, President and CEO of STATION Ai Corporation, too shared his visions for the center: “While the facility itself officially opened on October 31, the community within STATION Ai will be built collaboratively with everyone involved. Let’s work together to elevate the Aichi region and transform it into a focal point for open innovation in Asia.” Located on the south side of Tsuruma Park in Nagoya, STATION Ai boasts state-of-the-art facilities.
