At Santen Spain, we are proud to support training future guide dogs through our collaboration with the ONCE Guide Dog Foundation. Our Madrid office has welcomed Italica and Keira, two black labrador puppies, fostered by our colleagues, Eugenia de Plasencia Garcia and Pedro Miguel Castellanos. Spending time in the office helps the puppies develop crucial skills in diverse environments. Fernando Alvarez, General Manager Iberia, who supports the initiative stated “The company's support of programs like guide dog training reflects its dedication to helping make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. By allowing Italica and Keira to accompany their owners to the office, Santen not only fosters a positive work environment but also contributes to the training of a future service animal.” The initiative aligns with Santen’s mission in eye health and commitment to inclusion. We are excited to see Italica and Keira continue their journey towards becoming guide dogs! #SantenInspired #GuideDogs #Inclusion
