Schoenherr și Asociații SCA advised Accession Capital Partners (ACP) on investing, together with INVENIO Partners, in 5 to go, the largest coffee shop chain in Eastern Europe and Romania’s leading franchise. The transaction will drive 5 to go's plans to reach 1,000 locations in Romania and expand into key European markets. The new investors, through their project company 5TG Smile, will hold a majority stake in 5 to go. The Schoenherr team advising ACP on corporate/M&A matters was led by Madalina Neagu (partner). Dentons advises Kommunalkredit on €28 million financing to Econergy for its Iancu Jianu solar project in Romania. The project currently under construction in Olt county has an installed capacity of approximately 58 MW, and is expected to become operational during 2025. https://lnkd.in/dTXP7j2u

SARMIS CAPITAL has announced the acquisition of Total Technologies, a Honeywell-technology integrator for industrial automation. The acquisition is carried out through Smart ID Technology, a SARMIS Capital portfolio company. This is the second transaction made by Smart ID following the purchase in 2022 of the Romanian leader in ERP software, Sceptrum. The completion of the current transaction is subject to approval by the Competition Council.
