A vital part of introducing new technology is to educate the industry to understand its value and impact. This month, our team has participated in an exciting film production, led by our Marketing Manager Kristine Holte in collaboration production company Alt Film. 🎬 We can’t wait to showcase the finished results - Hopefully broadening your knowledge on the technical architecture of maritime autonomy solutions, our company vision, and the future of maritime. Thank you to the incredible network making it happen 🤝🏼🌱 Mennesket i fremtidens havromsoperasjoner (MIDAS) - Tinved Næringshage - Ocean Autonomy Cluster - Innovasjon Norge - Norges forskningsråd

A proud day in Singapore as Yinson GreenTech launched the Hydroglyder, a zero-emission electric crew transfer vessel outfitted with state of the art autonomy capabilities from Zeabuz ⚡️ The Hydroglyder is developed by Yinson GreenTech in collaboration with Lift Ocean and Zeabuz, offering a transformative step in sustainable maritime transport designed to redefine crew transfer and passenger journeys. Featuring advanced hydrofoil technology, it lifts the hull above water, significantly reducing energy consumption. 🔋 With Zeabuz Autonomy Solutions onboard, the vessel reaps the benefits of even further efficiencies in energy consumption, vastly improved safety and new crewing models. Autonomous navigation allows the crew to focus on the most important and highest value tasks while the Hydroglyder sails itself. 🧑🏽✈️ The combination of Zeabuz Autonomy Solutions and Lift Oceans hydrofoil makes the Hydroglyder the most advanced harbor craft in the world. As I write this I’ve just returned to Trondheim from 12 intensive days in Singapore. I‘ve participated in the Green Maritime Singapore trade mission organized by Innovation Norway, the Norway-Singapore Innovation Conference (SNIC) organized by the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, and met with a score of old and new contacts representing companies and organizations in the Singapore maritime ecosystem. I’ve already posted about some of the highlights regarding signing of our LOI with Yinson GreenTech and winning the Most Innovative Technology Award at SNIC, so now I’d simply like to reflect on some of my key takeaways from the trip. There are simply so many connection points between Norway and Singapore – two nations that are small in population but major players in the maritime industry. It is encouraging to see the joint ambitions and efforts undertaken to drive the decarbonization and digitalization transformations of the maritime industry. I’m especially impressed by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), which is combining political and technological drive with significant funding to empower the Singapore maritime ecosystem to act on their ambitions. Bringing together a host of research and innovation projects spread across the Singapore Institutes of Higher Learning with publicly funded industry projects, they truly empower real change. Now Zeabuz and Yinson GreenTech will push hard to make our contribution and realize our ambitions of autonomous and remotely operated harbour crafts. I’d like to extend my thanks to everyone who has made my stay awesome: Arne Kjetil, Daniel, Nikhil, and the Innovation Norway team for great organization of the trade mission, my fellow trade mission participants Trond, Svein David, Tom, Mikael, Carl, Christian, Per, Håkon, Henning and Mads for comradeship and good fun together, his excellency Leif Trana - Ambassador of Norway to Singapore and colleagues at the Norwegian Embassy in Singapore for hosting us, Tone Dale and the team at NBAS - Norwegian Business Association Singapore for a great arrangement at SNIC, the Yinson GreenTech team with Jan Viggo, Matthew, Carrel, Rui Xin Quek and others for taking me under their wings, Pia Meling and all the others I met at SNIC for great conversations, my old colleague Dr. Shahrin Osman and colleagues at DNV Singapore for the excellent maritime decarbonization workshop at their premises, Eng Soon, Tien Loong, Yee Wei Loh and Bhushan for the warm welcome at TCOMS - Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore, Bernard from Singapore Institute of Technology for spending so much time with me on both sightseeing and good discussions, Vincent and Capt Savio for receiving me at Singapore Polytechnic, and last but not least Kenneth, Yang Yang and the others at MPA for their support of our ambitions. Looking forward to my next visit!
