This week, our Sustainability Specialist Job van Mil was in Bonn, Germany, to receive a special ESG Transparency Award for the work we've done on our Impact Report 2023. We obtained a rating within the 'Excellence Class'. "We have worked hard to position ourselves as a transparent company within our industry, and it makes us proud to see that this is acknowledged by independent parties," he says. Our senior health specialist Tommy Berger Eriksen just might have the best job in the world. This year, the Skretting brand turned 125 years old, and we can say with humility that not everyone gets to enjoy this privilege! Earlier this week, our CEO Bastiaan van Tilburg joined one of IntraFish Media's International Salmon Week panels to discuss challenges and opportunities in the Norwegian salmon industry. One of the topics addressed at the panel was a potential shortage of crucial omega-3s. "There is enough demand for the industry to grow, but this is one obstacle that we need to tackle," he said.
