Which sector in Vietnam is the largest generator of #CarbonCredits? #Vietnam has 116 projects registered, waiting for verification or certified for carbon credits until now, according to statistics from two organizations #GoldStandard and #Verra. Of these, 40 projects have been certified, with 10.7 million credits issued annually. By sector, #forestry has only one project that is bringing in the most carbon credits annually. This is also the largest project in Vietnam - selling 10.3 million forest carbon credits (10.3 million tons of CO2) through the World Bank. At 5 USD per ton, this project earns 51.5 million USD, about 1,200 billion VND.
