I just had the honour to address the Internet Governance Forum 2024 Opening Session. I focused on four points: ✓ Digital gender divide and how we must act faster. ✓ Privacy vs innovation is not a valid argument. Privacy laws are crucial to uphold human rights in the age of AI. ✓ We must make the internet a safe space for all, and there is no safety for as long as women are silenced through abuse and deepfakes. ✓ Governance of AI is crucial. I am proud Wipro is a member of the EU AI act pact and we are working hard on our responsible AI agenda.
