  • Arisii , the coastal kitchen ,  brings together the diverse cuisines of Southern India and is named after rice, the cornerstone of all these culinary traditions. Rice, a grain that unifies yet showcases diversity, serves as the perfect symbol for our restaurant. Inspired by the rich art and culture of the region, we incorporated iconic elements like Kolam rangolis, Kathakali masks, and banana leaves into the design. Our color palette features a vibrant mix of hues, echoing the dynamic spirit of Southern India. Each shade was chosen to capture the lively and colorful essence of the coastal areas, infusing every dish and detail of the restaurant with the region’s true character (Naming, logo, branding, color palette, visual identity, visual design, branding, South Indian design, QSR branding, Coastal) #design #graphicdesign #brandingdesign #visualidentity #illustrations #thatdesignstudio

  • Interweave’s Inclusionnow has been an annual flagship event showcasing DEI thought leadership across organizations. This year’s theme, ‘Inclusive by Design,’ resonated deeply with us as designers, drawing us to the tools of our trade. Just as tools like selection, scale, and rotate help us craft curated designs for our clients, we imagined these same tools empowering vibrant, ambiguous human figures to create a more inclusive workspace. Our design approach utilized clear compositions, basic shapes, and sans serif fonts to enhance accessibility. Interweave took inclusivity a step further by introducing sign language interpreters, ramps, genderless washrooms, and more at the event. These efforts truly embodied the spirit of inclusive design, making the event accessible and welcoming to all. • At That, we always start our design projects by making mood boards. It’s our go-to first step, helping us and our clients get on the same page and turning abstract ideas into something real. Here are some recent projects, showing the journey from initial references to the final renders. We’ve skipped a few months of hard work in between, but you’ll get the idea! • At Pekoe, we’ve brewed up a space that captures the essence of India's street chai culture with a modern twist. Every corner of this quick-service restaurant exudes warmth and authenticity. Each element, from the counter to the playful wall art depicting chai vendors, was meticulously chosen to evoke the essence of a quintessential Indian chai thela. From the vibrant hues reminiscent of bustling markets to the space graphics inspired by traditional chai stalls, crafting this space was a journey of cultural immersion and creativity. ☕ 🍵
