About us
Being an elite, high performance athlete, the SporTech founding team always knew that in India, sportspeople do not have a voice. An average sportsperson doesn’t know he/she matters in the financial ecosystem of sports. In the Indian sporting world, everyone except the sportsperson, has benefitted from the booming ecosystem. The fact that the entire sporting industry, not just in India, but across the world, is majorly focussed towards analytics and gravitating towards fields which give short term earnings, gives us a nascent field with hardly any players. SporTech Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd. was formed to be a full fledged IT company, solely focussed towards sports. The products, services and technology being developed by us would be for public consumption and use. The aim is to make better, deeper and engaging sports content as well as technology, for common public, not just the elite.

Its been a decade since I have had the privilege of dedicating my efforts to the nation and the sports sector on my birthday. I'm deeply grateful to my exceptional team at SporTech Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd for crafting a comprehensive Kreedangan 2.0 Opinion Report. I am particularly thankful to Pinaze S Mitra (PhD) and Edward Francis Paul for inspiring the direction for the effort, to Amit Chobitkar for his diligent research and data compilation, and to Rashida Dudhiawala and Khushi Gupta for an absolutely brilliant report design. The Kreedangan 2.0 Opinion Report offers a visionary strategic plan for how India could host the #2036Olympics, utilizing #NEP2020's framework to build the necessary human infrastructure. Together with Abhijit Dabhade, I've synthesized vital conversations and developed six key clauses that form the centralized Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework and the Sports Skill Development Framework (SSDF) based on the ECI Model (Essential, Career, and Industry). Highlights of the report are: - Global Lessons: Participants analyzed past Olympics like Rio 2016 and London 2012, noting the importance of job creation, infrastructure development, and volunteer programs to shape India's Olympic strategy. - Public-Private Partnerships: The discussions highlighted public-private partnerships as crucial for sports infrastructure, advocating transparent governance, financial incentives, and community engagement to build sustainable facilities. - Skill Development: Intensive discussions emphasized collaboration with experts and international partnerships, using #NEP2020 for practical training and certifications in sports marketing, management, and analytics. - Diverse Sports Content: Participants advocated creating culturally inclusive content via digital storytelling and VR to inspire grassroots engagement and mobilize support for the Olympics. - Conclusions: Kreedangan 2.0 concluded with a clear pathway: -- Foster public-private partnerships for scalable sports infrastructure. -- Integrate NEP 2020 fully into sports education for skill development. -- Develop regional sports content to inspire grassroots participation. -- Use advanced marketing strategies to elevate India's sports industry. This report not only serves as a roadmap for the future of Indian sports but also highlights the global significance of cohesive planning and effective implementation. I’m honored to be part of the Kreedangan participant board that envisioned strategies for sustainable and impactful progress in the sports sector. Together, we look forward to creating a unified and flourishing future for sports in India and beyond. The report will be available for online reading and download on the company website by midnight tonight. Amit Gupta | Hemant Dua | Dilip Kumar

SporTech Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd is happy & proud to bring to you the world's first by-invite-only club for sportspeople. The Sports Guild (TSG) (https://lnkd.in/dEtZKkpV) is a highly prestigious and exclusive network specifically tailored for sports professionals (coaches, managers, admins, psychs, physios, S&C coaches and everyone else) other than athletes and parents. It uniquely values the contributions of these professionals by providing exclusive benefits and recognition based on their or their proteges’ achievements. The Guild's approach of merit-based membership, coupled with its inclusivity for in & ex-servicemen through the Field Marshal Manekshaw Club, illustrates a thoughtful commitment to recognizing and rewarding dedication and excellence in the sports industry. This setup not only elevates the professional lives of its members but also enhances the broader sports ecosystem by fostering a community of recognized and supported professionals. A couple of other things to know: - The membership of TSG cannot be bought, it has to be earned. - One may nominate/apply for a membership, the application and the individual would be interviewed. TSG would offer a membership to the applicants who are in the first rung of contributors. The same goes for organisations. - We have limited memberships open for 2024 and would be offered on first-come-first-serve basis. - Ex-Servicemen/women from the Indian Armed forces (Army/Navy/Airforce) would avail a lifetime of complimentary services under the "Field Marshal Manekshaw Club, once they are offered the membership and as long as they choose to be with us. TSG is committed to fundamentally enhancing the lives and careers of sports professionals who often dedicate themselves to nurturing their athletes' potentials at the cost of their own personal and financial well-being. Through its network, TSG aims to provide these unsung heroes with not only recognition but tangible benefits that address the disparities in their careers. By offering exclusive access to products, events, professional development resources and financial opportunities (including but not restricting to various economic advantages, including discounts, deals, and special offers), TSG intends to create a more fulfilling and prosperous environment, ensuring these professionals can also focus on their own growth and happiness, ensuring they receive significant value beyond just professional recognition and network expansion. Without our team, it wouldn't have been possible, we thank: Amit Gupta | Hemant Dua | Sanand Salil Mitra | Pinaze S Mitra (PhD) | Edward Francis Paul | Mitesh Kadvani | Vishal Sharma | Amit Chobitkar | Daivik Bhatia | Rashida Dudhiawala | Khushi Gupta

#nationalstartupday2024 Though it was celebrated yesterday, I felt I could write a little more freely today, after the flurry of startup posts has ebbed. Eighteen years back, as an ambitious entrepreneur, I embarked on a journey, launching a business that would stand the test of time and it did. Eighteen years later, with a wealth of experience and an unfulfilled desire to change the sports industry not just in one sphere but every experience within it, I made the unthinkable decision to reinvent not just myself but my approach in its entirety. This marked the birth of SporTech Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd that fused the wisdom of 18 years in the industry with the dynamism and agility of a new startup. I'm glad that Pinaze S Mitra (PhD) supported me through my thick & thin in my journey as my friend, my confidant, my life partner and my north star. From its inception, SporTech Innovation Lab Pvt Ltd was conceived with the vision of changing and rewiring the sports industry. It has always been more than just an entrepreneurial leap; it represents a fusion of deep industry insights with a new, vibrant perspective. With Edward Francis Paul & Mitesh Kadvani teaming up with us, our collective experience across various business sectors has equipped us with an unparalleled depth of understanding, which we bring to this endeavor. Every effort has taken a pause & thought, leveraging the tenacity and resilience cultivated over years of overcoming challenges and achieving successes. Our #startup is in building an organization rooted in strong values and fundamentals. There our so many wellwishers that have connected with us at the core, leaders who have motivated us. Col. Lalit Rai, Dr. Prithvish Nag, Dr. ( h.c.)JP Rao, Hemant Dua, Neel Shah, Mahesh Ranka, jignasu mehta, Sanjana Kiran, Pankaj Markandey, Gagan Narang, Surinder Chawla, Cyrus Poncha, R.Vidya Praveena Varghese, Aniruddha Atul Bhagwat, Prashant Joglekar, Paul R. to name a few. Blending seasoned experience and startup innovation is not just about being at the forefront of change in the sports industry, it's about building more than just products. We're engineering the ecosystem where we build stronger values thus societal growth and humanity are uplifted. Our organization effortlessly balances inclusivity, cooperation and mutual development while tackling fiscal & stature growth. I found my sounding board in Amit Gupta over a singularly interesting phone call. Our bond/friendship/mentor-mentee relationship has built over common philosophies, gratitude & sharing #stevejobs anecdotes, Naval Ravikant quotes and building towards raising humanity. We understand that our success is intertwined with the upliftment of the community and the ecosystem at large. We are surefooted in our decisions, not tentative and we are not here to play the game; we are here to change it, to build a legacy that outlasts expectations and fosters a more collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
