    Last evening, we had Diwali meet organised by Pune Management Association, we thank Pradnya Godbole from deAsra Foundation, for her thoughts on: Stuck in the middle – the unorganized “Nano-entrepreneur”- the session was moderated by me Considering the wide area of work Pradnya is handling at deAsra is doing, we decided to have a fireside chat format, which enabled us to explore and understand the real scenarios of Nano entrepreneurs We got a brief about the struggles, issues, mind-set of nano entrepreneurs, the number of entrepreneurs falling in bracket  are staggering, these numbers are indication of future, the workforce being created, amount of jobs that are needed for such your workforce, with such high amount of entrepreneurs falling in this category, government, private organisation, volunteers, mentors need to play a major role in their support and growth, We as PMA are committed with our roles to support entrepreneurs and colleges Anil Valsangkar ji and Atul Kulkarni ji felicitated Pradyna, We thank all for coming in huge numbers, we had a full house- we had questions from the ever energetic audience but we had to curtail due to paucity of time and Pradnya was generous enough to have many questions answered offline after the session.     Last evening, we had session by Tanmay Nahar on "Software Services Firm Breaks into New EU Market with Multi-Million Euro Agreement”- what intended to be a storytelling session of an hour, ended up being a short master class as per feedback received by audience This was the 2nd time only in SIT where the complete session was delivered without any presentation, he has a uncanny knack of keeping the audience engaged with information backed by examples and touch of humor to add to the overall delivery of the topic He gave the complete picture of European market from geographical, financial, business stand point, elaborating on 7 clusters and its respective countries, their languages, buying patterns, cost of living, how one needs to have basic knowhow of culture, how each country has a unique identity and characteristics which makes this market different from others We thank all for coming in huge numbers, we had a full house- we had questions from the ever energetic audience but we had to curtail due to paucity of time and Tanmay was generous enough to have many questions answered offline after the session SIT- storytelling session on Sales and marketing is organised by SMJ Consultants and Pune Management Association happens every month and our next session would be on 13th November

Thanks to the power of modern technology, your potential customer has already vetted you before agreeing to a meeting, so what is stopping the conversion? Understanding the market, lead generation, and utilizing various tools like CRM, customer mapping and digital marketing is crucial. However, closing a deal often hinges on identifying and addressing the buyer's specific needs and concerns.  While there are no fixed rules in sales, anticipating common challenges and adapting accordingly is akin to playing cricket.       We recently delivered a webinar titled "How to Close Sales as a Small Business?", where I shared insights from my experiences as a corporate professional and now as a sales consultant. The session was moderated by Mrinalini Sachan, a digital marketing consultant, who highlighted the importance of aligning marketing efforts with an effective sales strategy to maximize ROI for small businesses. 🔍 I noticed that much of the focus is on “Marketing”—with technology, social media, and content creation tools, it's now easier than ever to handle posting, feedback, data capturing, and analysis. BUT this is where marketing ends and “Sales” starts. This webinar was designed to provide value for a diverse audience, including: 🚀 Startups looking for business 💰 Startups during funding rounds with investors 🌍 Entrepreneurs entering new markets 🏢 NGOs seeking CSR funds 👥 B2C customers visiting your office 💼 Consultants (digital, advertising, lawyers, trainers, architects, etc.) 📊 During meetings with decision-makers 🤝 Addition of distribution/channel partners, system integrators, JVs, etc. When a customer meets you, they are often already 50-60% aware and convinced of your value, given the information available about your business and competition.     Last Evening, 13th August’24, we had another session of our monthly SIT session on marketing strategies, Topic was “Building Business model in Unorganized sector” We had Krishna Badwane from Indian Drivers (ID Car Drivers Pvt Ltd) deliver his talk on his inspiring journey from idea to execution, with time as experiences gets added and changing situations, they are evolving with their endeavour to serve customers and more importantly the driver community Some important takeaways from the session: Ø If you have a visions and passion for business, do start!!!
