December 2015. I still remember it like yesterday.
It was my first day as a product manager. I sat there staring at my laptop, blank screen, blank mind, as my manager asked, “Shravan, what’s the plan?”
The truth? I had no plan.
I didn’t know frameworks.
I didn’t know how to structure my thoughts.
I didn’t even know where to start.
It felt like everyone else had a mentor, or a secret playbook. And here I was — fumbling alone in the cubicle, scared and clueless.
That night, I promised myself one thing:
I’ll figure it out.
So I didn’t give up.
- I solved small problems and learned how to think.
- I failed — again and again — but kept showing up.
- I obsessed over product sense, strategy, and systems until they became second nature.
And somewhere along the way, I made a promise to myself:
If I can make this journey easier for someone else, I will.
Fast forward to today:
- 500+ students cracked product roles at Meta, Google, Microsoft, Razorpay, and India’s leading unicorns.
- Spoken to brilliant product leaders and given lectures at IITs, IIMs, ISB, NTU, and more.
- invested in startups, built communities, and made products used by millions
- made you laugh , shared my failures and sometimes dropped some wisdom along the way
But here’s the truth:
Whatever I am today, it’s because of you.
