2 days to liftoff…🔥 …and it seems only fair to take a moment and think about how we got here. 2024 has gone by faster than we expected, with major milestones for PierSight. We’re building India’s first private SAR+AIS satellite constellation for persistent maritime surveillance, and a journey like that is bound to be full of ‘firsts’. Every moment has led to growth, but there are a few that made us believe in our vision – an “eye in the sky” for the world’s oceans. As 2024 comes to a close, we’re deeply grateful for everyone and everything that got us here, especially these milestones. I’m especially grateful for Han Solo (Star Wars). 😅 Every time things got tough, I found inspiration in his his iconic line—“Never tell me the odds!” It became a reminder to push forward, no matter how daunting the challenges seemed. 🙌

With just 03 days to Varuna’s liftoff, I realized this morning that… Our team has approximately increased by 4x since January. 🙌 Now, that might look like just another number, but for me & Vinit Bansal, it feels like an achievement in itself. Starting the year with just the 7 of us, we didn’t expect to grow this fast. Since day one, we have always prioritized onboarding the best talent whenever the need arose. Along the way, we’ve been equally committed to fostering a culture where people strive for excellence. And today, looking at the team we have assembled, we believe we have built one of the strongest space-tech teams of the country! ✨
