Sanding is one of the most challenging manual tasks in the finishing process, requiring workers to meticulously grind the surface inch by inch while being exposed to harmful putty dust. It is also a crucial step in achieving high-quality wall surfaces, as it corrects any imperfections in the previous layers. After months of trials, experimenting with various combinations of speed, pressure, motion, and spray thickness, we have successfully demonstrated the robot’s ability to deliver superior quality and productivity. This has been validated through pilot projects with two tier-1 developers known for their commitment to excellence.
