About us
National Association for the Blind Delhi is one of the very well established organisations working since 1979 for the education and rehabilitation of persons with blindness or low vision. Our education programme is one of the flagship programmes of the country where the students attend very well established and the best of the schools in Delhi. This education is also supported by remedial classes by special educators at NAB Delhi. We run a hostel for about 160 Students with blindness from outside Delhi who are part of our education programme. This hostel is located at the National Association for the Blind, Sector 5, R.K. Puram, New Delhi 110022. We also provide transportation to these students to go to the mainstream schools. We maintain three vehicles with drivers for this purpose. These children are integrated in 27 different schools in South Delhi.

✨Promoting Inclusive Learning and Accessibility Through ‘Making of Hero’✨ On December 12th, at the launch of the Hindi-Braille edition of ‘Making of Hero’ at The Oberoi, New Delhi — authored by Sunil Kant Munjal — a Braille version of book was presented to Prashant Ranjan Verma General Secretary, NAB Delhi. This compelling book celebrates the remarkable journey of the visionary founders of The Hero Group. In a gesture of inclusion, Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman of Hero Enterprises, and Amitabh Kant India’s G20 Sherpa, the former chief executive officer of NITI Aayog championed accessibility and inclusive learning for the visually impaired. The evening also marked the announcement of the 17th BML Munjal Awards for Business Excellence — a testament to learning, development, and growth. This inclusive book features large print for persons with low vision and Braille for the blind. We hope more mainstream publications will come out in this format.
