🌐 Beyond the Browser: Unveiling the Freshman Tech Experience 🌐 We’re thrilled to share highlights from our recent event, "Beyond the Browser," designed to empower freshers with the foundations of web development and open doors to tech careers! Held on October 19, 2024, at Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology Pune, this hands-on workshop welcomed 360 eager first-year students who dove into HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap, taking them from coding basics to creating interactive websites and even a fun Whack-a-Ghost game! 🎮✨ The day kicked off with an inspiring keynote by Poorva Thosar, SDE at Amazon, who shared her personal career roadmap, offering students strategies for skill-building, internships, and navigating college life successfully. 🌐 MLSC Cloud Wars Series: A Powerful Start What an incredible start with Episode 1: Introduction & Overview to The Cloud 🌩️ On 12 August 2024, MLSC started Episode 1 with two cloud experts: Toshal Khawale, VP at JPMorganChase and Pavan Wankhade, CIO at Unnati Development and Training Centre Pvt Ltd. The event was held at Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology, Pune. Toshal Sir gave us an in-depth look at the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework, shedding light on the latest industry trends and emphasizing the growing role of cloud security, DevOps, and migration strategies. His session left us with a solid understanding of where the future of cloud computing is headed and how we can start our journey in cloud computing. Pavan Sir took it further by exploring containers and Kubernetes. His insights into containerized applications, resource optimization, and the power of Kubernetes were enlightening. He explained how containers enable efficient application deployment, scaling, and management. He shared successful companies' experiences implementing Kubernetes in various projects, highlighting its flexibility and scalability. We want to thank our club mentor, Sandip Shinde sir for his consistent support and guidance, in making this event a success.
