Striking a balance between ‘technology enhancement’, skilling of people till the ‘last mile’ and ensuring ‘cyber security’ in operations are the three accelerators of financial inclusion and sustainable business. We need to ensure that the SMEs, that plays a significant role in the entire supply chain, gain the capacity to utilise the power of technology in the most inclusive, secure and sustainable manner. All these factors contribute towards an enabling environment for business growth and development across the globe. Discussions on “Strengthening Indo-Pacific Partnerships through Technology Collaboration”, organised by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industries, that was organised on the second day of Indo Pacific Economic Conclave very clearly pointed towards a collective action towards empowering MSMEs in India in their journey towards sustainability by leveraging safe & secure digital transition.

  • Addressing multifaceted development challenges is critical to reduce the threats of climate change, pollution, and biodiversity and nature loss to widening inequalities and shrinking space for participation and dialogue. Women, children and young people, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, migrant workers and displaced persons, among others, are some of the rights holders often disproportionately affected by business-related human rights violations, and often the least able to access remedy. Ranjana Das, Co-Founder of Markzin Young Private Limited, highlighted the importance of an inclusive approach towards it. At the 6th UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum at Bangkok, she highlighted the importance of Human Rights Due Diligence as an important global framework to accelerate the collective progress towards sustainable and responsible business practices. Critical importance of creation of awareness among the small and micro entrepreneurs to adopt good practices and articulate the real challenges to reduce the incidences of business- related human rights violations. Our technology-based solution Nature Responsive Finance For Sustainability (NRFS) intends to bring all stakeholders of MSME ecosystem in India to learn and adopt the practices to ensure sustainable and responsible business.  #sustainableMSMEs

  • AI workloads also mean increased requirements for power and generation of more heat. The rising need of processing large volumes of data quickly over a short period has led to a surge in electricity demand among data centres. It’s great to see that CtrlS Datacenters Ltd has started adoption of sustainable practices to (em)power the AL & ML innovations.
