A big thank you to everyone who joined us this week in Bengaluru for Trust Mamla 2024! It's been a fruitful two days of conversations and reflections around trust in technology and the barriers to women's adoption of digital platforms in India. Participants and speakers raised critical questions around risk and safety, negotiation and convenience. We've come away with new perspectives on mitigating risks for women online, building trust with and for communities over time, and the value of transparency and accountability mechanisms in building inclusive public technologies. A few snapshots from the very first Hands On workshop at the Ladyfingers Co. studio, led by the super talented Rucha Dhayarkar. A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined in—I hope you had just as much fun as I did. And for those who couldn't make it, don't worry! We've got plenty more fun workshops planned in the coming months! This time, we played around with clay creatures as a storytelling medium, and there's something truly magical about using your hands to create with no agenda—just pure, unfiltered creativity. It opened up my mind in ways I didn't expect, and I’m more convinced than ever that sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re just having fun. As a very wise man named Albert Einstein once said “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” Stay tuned for more exciting HANDS ON sessions at Ladyfingers Co. studio!

Had the absolute pleasure of sketchnoting at the Beckn Node Zero event held by Beckn Protocol, FIDE and supported by Sattva Consulting. Our engagement began with working on a "hero visual" (in this case, a comic!) that would express the intent and goals of the event. A complex ask for an event such as this with layered goals, but with the patient help of Meena Iyer from Sattva Consulting and Gariyasi Garg of FIDE, we were able to create something both meaningful and dare I say, fun. It was a true pleasure to see how the organizers gave great screen space to the visuals and truly used them to the maximum potential. Sketchnotes at the actual event were fantastic too - being projected through out, not just at the end. I felt it in the feedback. Audiences truly connected, and were moved by the visuals. Thanks again folks, for this wonderful opportunity. Hope we can work together again soon!

Finally announcing HANDS ON!  The all new workshop series by Ladyfingers Co. that we’ve been stewing on. Our proposition is simple, activity based workshops that promise to get you making things. Cutting, moulding, drawing, pasting - it’s time you got your hands dirty again! Our first workshop is with Rucha Dhayarkar who’s clay creatures have delighted and prompted thought in all that follow her work. Come make your own creatures and give voice to your own angst, hot takes and existential dread! If you're in Bangalore and craving a fun, creative evening and meet some new people - I know I want to, I’d love to have you there! Ok.. #10years is a deal… And I feel so much pride and love for this organization Ladyfingers Co. and the three amazing Co-founders, Rajasee Ray Tanvee Nabar and Shubhangi Goel… In fact today attending their fab 10th anniversary was a walk down the memory lane reminiscing of our association of these many years. I am indebted to these three very young #womenentrepreneurs for sharing their wisdom and work into my work over the years. Indeed my journey under Women Economic Empowerment Program years back, where I had been working and leading women economic empowerment and entrepreneurship program this young team helped me in designing tools, games and providing fab insights on #userexperience and design… #girls you all rock.. and May you traverse more decades with the oomph and guts.. And thank you to include us in today’s celebration. PS: We will try to feature Ladyfingers Co. under our Women Economic Empowerment Program and share about some interesting work in the area of content and games for women they have designed.. keep waiting..

It's heartening to hear that the work you love to do, brings value to our clients.
