  • On 18-19 December 2024, Scanning Electron Microscope was successfully delivered and installed at the Pashmina Certification Centre, a joint venture between EPCH and the Wildlife Institute of India, located at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun. This state-of-the-art equipment will significantly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes at the facility. The installation and handover were conducted in the esteemed presence of Dr. S.K. Gupta (Scientist F), Dr. C.P. Sharma (Principal Technical Officer), and representative from EPCH. This marks an important step towards strengthening the centre's capabilities and commitment to excellence and providing better facilities to our Pashmina Exporters.

    NEW DELHI – 10th December, 2024 – Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) today successfully concluded its 38th Annual General Meeting at New Delhi. The Meeting was chaired by Mr. Dileep Baid, Chairman-EPCH in the presence of Mr. Neeraj Khanna and Mr. Sagar Mehta, Vice Chairmen-EPCH. Also leading member exporters were present in the meeting included Mr. Ravi K. Passi, Mr. Raj Kumar Malhotra, Mr. D. Kumar, Mr. Rajesh Jain, Mr. K. L. Ramesh, Mr. Avdesh Agarwal, Mr. Naved Ur Rehman, Mr. Salman Azam, Mr. Ashok Arora, Mr. Simrandeep Singh Kohli, Mr. Arshad Mir, Mr. Najmul Islam, Mr. Vishal Agarwal, Mr. Parvez Alam, Mr. S. K. Goel, Mr. J P Singh, Mr. Deepak Gupta, Mr. Rishi Soni, Mr. Sandeep Chhabra, Mr. Vineet Bhatia, Mr. Manu Gulati, Mr. Naveen Yadav, Mr. R. K. Verma, Executive Director - EPCH, Mr. Rajesh Rawat, Addl. Mr. Dileep Baid, Chairman-EPCH chaired the 38th Annual General Meeting and briefed the gathering about various activities and initiatives undertaken by the Council during 2023-24 toward the promotion of exports of handicrafts from the Country. One of the agenda items of the 38th AGM was to constitute the vacancies as per available vacancies i.e. three vacancies in Northern Region and one each in North-West Region, Southern Region and North East Region. The House adopted all the agendas including the election of CoA members informed by Mr. R. K. Verma, the Executive Director-EPCH. The elected members are from the Northern Region: Mr. Ravi K. Passi, M/s R. K. Arts; Mr. Prince Malik, M/s Osyrus Overseas and Mr. Arshad Hussain Mir, M/s Mir Handicrafts Pvt. Ltd; and North-East Region: Ms. Jesmina Zeliang, M/s Heirloom Naga, Dimapur; From the Southern Region: Mr. K. N. Tulasi Rao, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa & Co., Narsapur From the North-West Region: Mr. Dileep Baid, M/s Dileep Crafts Private Limited, Jaipur. Mr. Dileep Baid, Chairman-EPCH, on behalf of EPCH expressed his appreciation to outgoing member of the Committee of Administration Mr. K. L. Ramesh for his contribution and services provided during his tenure for handicrafts trade.     ईपीसीएच की 38वीं वार्षिक आम बैठक में प्रशासनिक समिति के छह नए सदस्य चुने गए नई दिल्ली- 10 दिसंबर, 2024 – हस्तशिल्प निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद (ईपीसीएच) ने आज नई दिल्ली में अपनी 38वीं वार्षिक आम बैठक सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न की। बैठक की अध्यक्षता ईपीसीएच के अध्यक्ष श्री दिलीप बैद ने की और इस दौरान ईपीसीएच के उपाध्यक्ष श्री नीरज खन्ना और श्री सागर मेहता भी मौजूद रहे। बैठक में प्रमुख सदस्य निर्यातकों में श्री रवि के. पासी, श्री राज कुमार मल्होत्रा, श्री डी. कुमार, श्री राजेश जैन, श्री के. एल. रमेश, श्री अवधेश अग्रवाल, श्री नवेद उर रहमान, श्री सलमान आज़म, श्री अशोक अरोड़ा, श्री सिमरनदीप सिंह कोहली, श्री अरशद मीर, श्री नजमुल इस्लाम, श्री विशाल अग्रवाल, श्री परवेज़ आलम, श्री एस. के. गोयल, श्री जे. पी. सिंह, श्री दीपक गुप्ता, श्री ऋषि सोनी, श्री संदीप छाबड़ा, श्री विनीत भाटिया, श्री मनु गुलाटी, श्री नवीन यादव, श्री आर. के. वर्मा, कार्यकारी निदेशक, श्री राजेश रावत ईपीसीएच के अतिरिक्त कार्यकारी कार्यकारी निदेशक सह सचिव; और देश के विभिन्न भागों से अन्य प्रतिष्ठित सदस्य निर्यातक उपस्थित थे। ईपीसीएच के अध्यक्ष श्री दिलीप बैद ने 38वीं वार्षिक आम बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए उपस्थित लोगों को साल 2023-24 के दौरान देश से हस्तशिल्प के निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में परिषद द्वारा की गई विभिन्न गतिविधियों और पहलों की जानकारी दी। 38वीं वार्षिक आम बैठक के एजेंडा में से एक उपलब्ध रिक्तियों के अनुसार रिक्तियों का गठन करना था, अर्थात उत्तरी क्षेत्र में तीन रिक्तियां तथा उत्तर-पश्चिम क्षेत्र, दक्षिणी क्षेत्र और उत्तर-पूर्व क्षेत्र में एक-एक रिक्तियां। ईपीसीएच के कार्यकारी निदेशक श्री आर. के. वर्मा सूचित किया की सदन ने सीओए सदस्यों के चुनाव सहित सभी एजेंडों को अपना लिया I सीओए के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य उत्तरी क्षेत्र से : श्री रवि के. पासी, मेसर्स आर. के. आर्ट्स; श्री प्रिंस मलिक, मेसर्स ओसिरस ओवरसीज और श्री अरशद हुसैन मीर, मेसर्स मीर हैंडीक्राफ्ट्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड; उत्तर-पूर्व क्षेत्र से: सुश्री जेस्मिना जेलियांग, मेसर्स हीरलूम नागा, दीमापुर; दक्षिणी क्षेत्र से: श्री के. एन. तुलसी राव, रामकृष्ण परमहंस एंड कंपनी, नरसापुर उत्तर-पश्चिम क्षेत्र से: श्री दिलीप बैद, मेसर्स दिलीप क्राफ्ट्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, जयपुर चुने गए। ईपीसीएच के अध्यक्ष श्री दिलीप बैद ने ईपीसीएच की ओर से प्रशासन समिति के निवर्तमान सदस्य श्री के.एल. रमेश की उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान हस्तशिल्प व्यापार के लिए दिए गए योगदान और सेवाओं के लिए सराहना की। इसके अलावा, श्री बैद ने हस्तशिल्प क्षेत्र की बेहतरी के लिए सदस्य निर्यातकों से संयुक्त और सहयोगात्मक समर्थन और प्रयास करने का आग्रह किया। #epch #epchindia #handcrafted #annualgeneralmeeting #agm #committee #members
