✈️⚠️ Flights Aren't the Real Issue; Inaction Is! After 28 years of #CoP meetings and discussions, global temperatures continue to rise, and climate #disasters intensify. The 29th Conference of Parties (COP-29) meeting will be held in #Baku, Azerbaijan. it will bring together leaders to address climate change. While there's often criticism of the carbon footprint of their travel, or sitting in AC, Prof. Solanki doesn't mind flights or private jets being used. What he does mind is that after nearly 30 years of COP meetings, meaningful climate action is still missing. 😕 The world doesn't need more pledges or superficial solutions. It needs immediate, drastic steps: like focus on limiting consumption, respecting planetary boundaries. COP29 must go beyond long-term goals and initiate urgent change now. Future generations will judge us not by our words, but by the actions we take at this critical moment. After cleaning visible garbage - now targeting invisible one ♻️💡 "Aao ab banaye Indore ko World me No. 1" #Indore has long held the title of India’s cleanest city and deserves all the praise. Prof. Solanki has been discussing with the Mayor of Indore, that Indore should also tackle invisible garbage of #greenhouse gases. This "invisible garbage" poses an even greater danger. After over a year of discussions with the Mayor, we’re now taking a big step to address this hidden threat.⚠️ Thanks to the Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav ji for great support. Indore Municipal Corporation in Collaboration with Energy Swaraj Foundation, major organizations of city and of course with all #Indoreans we are going to launch the Indore Climate Mission. 🙌🏻🌍 Prof. Solanki is in Indore and he will be in here for the next four months with his Energy Swaraj Yatra bus, preparing throughout November. Then we will launch a 100 days action packed mission; from Dec. 1, 2024, to Mar. 10, 2025.
