Enhancing Learning Outcomes by creating a world where children learn with understanding.
About us
Ei is an ed-tech company that leverages the twin levers of cutting-edge research and technology-based solutions approach to revolutionise how children engaged in the K-12 education space learn. Our vision is to create a world in which children everywhere learn with understanding. Our goal is to reach a multitude of children across different strata of society, irrespective of the kind of education they are receiving today or the curriculum they are following. We achieve this goal by building products that focus on diagnostic assessment and personalised learning. We believe in a scientific approach to conceptualising, designing and building our products. This stems from a dream to discover SCIENCE OF LEARNING that can systematically be made available to teachers. Ei's mission is to build this 'Science of Learning’ that provides teachers a repository of data and techniques that they can use to help children learn better - a big improvement over today's situation where teachers struggle alone to help students learn. Ei's work on assessment and learning has already helped create banks of misconceptions, common student errors and the like and these are being shared as usable insights with teachers. In addition to this trove of insights, our platforms cull relevant and customised intelligence from over a billion data points and deliver content in the form of questions, activities, games and videos to test students and provide explanations, feedback and learning inputs that are useful to students as well as teachers, and is a game-changer. This data treasure is one-of-its-kind in the education industry. To know more about our offerings and programmes, visit: www.ei.study

We were delighted to welcome Prof. Abhijeet Singh, Co-Chair of Education at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and Associate Professor of Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics, for an insightful session at Ei today. Prof. Singh shared his personal journey into education, shedding light on how his experiences shaped his approach to research and policymaking. He spoke about his long-standing association with Ei Mindspark, India’s only EdTech solution to be rigorously evaluated, and how its impact has been felt in Delhi centres and government schools in Rajasthan. During the session, Prof. Singh reflected on the lessons learned from scaling EdTech solutions, the gap between research and policymaking, and the challenges of working with governments. He also stressed the importance of high-quality assessments to truly understand and address gaps in learning outcomes, showcasing how technology can make this process more effective. It was an inspiring conversation that reinforced the importance of collaboration and innovation in transforming education. We’re grateful to Prof. Singh for his time and insights and for leaving us with so much to reflect on as we work towards our shared vision of enabling every child to learn with understanding. #EducationMatters #EiMindspark #LearningWithUnderstanding #CollaborationForChange Sridhar Rajagopalan, Pranav Kothari, Aarthi Muralidharan, Nishchal Shukla, Varathkanth E, Subhash Bansiwal, SHRM-SCP, Jayanti Dasgupta, Girish Raichandani, Kannan Perumal, Ritesh Agarwal, Gayatri Vaidya, Muntaquim Bagadia, Bindu Pillai, Vikas Narang, Mansi Kasliwal, Prakhar Ghildyal

In the given mathematical question, 30.5% of students answered the question correctly, while 26.3% chose Option B, incorrectly believing that paths on the same jogging track have equal lengths. These students struggle with spatial reasoning, often failing to recognize that inner and outer boundaries can differ in length. Identifying such misconceptions is crucial for effective mathematics education. By understanding students' specific reasoning errors, educators can design targeted interventions that address fundamental spatial reasoning challenges. This approach allows teachers to develop more precise instructional strategies that help students recognize geometric nuances, connect abstract mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios, and develop a deeper, more intuitive understanding of measurement, perimeter, and boundary relationships. #Misconception #Math #Area #Perimeter #Education #Learning Sridhar Rajagopalan, Pranav Kothari, Aarthi Muralidharan, Nishchal Shukla, Varathkanth E, Subhash Bansiwal, SHRM-SCP, Jayanti Dasgupta, Girish Raichandani, Kannan Perumal, Ritesh Agarwal, Gayatri Vaidya, Muntaquim Bagadia, Bindu Pillai, Vikas Narang, Mansi Kasliwal, Prakhar Ghildyal

The given math problem uncovered a common student misconception about volume and container shape. While only 31.6% of students answered correctly, 49% mistakenly assumed that halving a bottle automatically means halving the water quantity. This widespread misunderstanding highlights the importance of teaching spatial reasoning and proportional thinking. By identifying such conceptual gaps, educators can design targeted lessons that help students develop a more nuanced understanding of measurement and geometry. #Misconception #EiASSET #Learning #Education #Math #Measurement #Geometry Sridhar Rajagopalan, Pranav Kothari, Aarthi Muralidharan, Nishchal Shukla, Varathkanth E, Subhash Bansiwal, SHRM-SCP, Jayanti Dasgupta, Girish Raichandani, Kannan Perumal, Ritesh Agarwal, Gayatri Vaidya, Muntaquim Bagadia, Bindu Pillai, Vikas Narang, Mansi Kasliwal, Prakhar Ghildyal
