Dr. Uday Vegad received best PhD Thesis Award for Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences for the year 2023 from Gujarat Science Academy. The award was confered during 35th Gujarat Science Congress held at Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra on 3rd Feb, 2024. Dr. Vegad pursued his PhD under the guidance of Dr. Devang Pandya from RK University, Rajkot with thesis entitled " Bioactivity Guided Phytochemical Investigations of Onosma bracteatum Wall.; A Controversial species of Gojihva" The necessary facilities and resources for the research were provided by Gujarat Technological University and Aum Research Laboratories Pvt. There can be no better rejuvenator than sports! Aum Research Labs Pvt Ltd celebrated their sports day... an entire day well-spent in the warmth of the winter sun, with the perfect amalgamation of traditional and modern events. The day started with a Zumba session, followed by sprint race, sack race, dog-and-bone (rumaal jhapatta), seven stones (saatoliyo/naagoliyo), skipping ropes (dorda kood) and cricket (conventional and box). With our honorable Managing Director Mr. Jitendrabhai Patel himself taking the lead in participation and winning the Player of the Tournament in Cricket, it turned out to be a wonderful team-building and leadership exercise throughout the day, which sums up the work culture of the organization. #sports #workculture #workculturematters #teamwork
