On 7 December, Mother’s Choice hosted the Understanding Children’s Needs program at our Kwun Tong office, bringing together adoptive and prospective adoptive parents to explore strategies for building stronger, more supportive families. The workshops, led by Dr. Sylvia Doo from the Dr. Doo Child Development and Assessment Centre and Ms. Amanda Fok from Let’s Talk ADHD, equipped parents with practical tools and insights to better support children with special needs, such as ADHD. The sessions emphasised communication, understanding, and tailored care, empowering parents to navigate challenges with greater confidence and compassion.   This program was offered pro-bono by our expert speakers, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity in sharing their time and knowledge. Initiatives like this are vital to creating a supportive community for adoptive families, especially those navigating the unique challenges of raising children with diverse needs. #MothersChoiceHK #UnderstandingChildrensNeeds

We’re excited to announce the completion of a brand-new hangout space at our Pregnant Girls Home, designed and built by the incredible Qube Research & Technologies team! This much-needed space gives our girls a place to relax, connect, and unwind during their free time. The QRT team went above and beyond to make this project possible. From navigating the many steps in our building to working through the rain, their commitment never wavered. To celebrate the space’s completion, our pregnant girls and House Mothers prepared snacks to thank the team for their hard work. This project is more than just a space—it’s a reflection of QRT’s generosity, effort, and care for the young women we serve.
