✨ LONGi Hydrogen Enters Partnership with HydrogenPro ✨ LONGi Hydrogen is thrilled to announce the signing of an Investment Agreement with #HydrogenPro. Together with ANDRITZ AG and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd, LONGi Hydrogen will jointly invest approximately NOK 140 million in HydrogenPro. In addition, both parties have signed a Cooperation Agreement, establishing a partnership to scale up the manufacturing, engineering, and servicing of electrolyzers for the European green hydrogen market. Haimeng Zhang, Group Vice President, CSO & Board of Director for LONGi Hydrogen Business joined the panel discussion on Hydrogen Transition Summit and shared his thoughts on the green hydrogen challenge in the hard-to-abate industries: 🔑 Key barriers slowing industrial adoption in hard-to-abate sectors: Green Hydrogen Economics: Renewable energy is affordable and economical now, but for hydrogen production, costly storage & infrastructure are necessary which keeps the hydrogen prices above $2/kg. The undeveloped mechanism of certification is also one of the barriers for establishing the premium value of clean products. Technology Uncertainty: the reliability of electrolyzers plays a key role in the hydrogen production facility, while the integration with downstream application requires further knowledge and experience. Finance Hurdles: Developing countries face higher financing costs, making projects less bankable. 💡 The Path Forward: Electrolyzer reliability is the prior, LONGi Hydrogen, as solution provider, is dedicated to the principle of providing safe and reliable products and keeps on investing in R & D. Government support & innovative financing is important to de-risk projects. we can also adopt the step-by-step approaches in the project to minimize the risk and optimize the bankability and feasibility of the hydrogen projects. The first sod has been turned on one of Australia’s largest renewable hydrogen projects, starting the energy transition for Albury-Wodonga’s gas network and providing a new source of renewable energy for regional industry, homes and businesses. Hydrogen Park Murray Valley will blend renewable hydrogen into the local network at up to 10% by volume to commercial and industrial gas users, as well as around 40,000 Albury-Wodonga homes and businesses. A 10-megawatt LONGi Hydrogen electrolyser will form the centrepiece of the project, enabling Hydrogen Park Murray Valley to generate around 500 tonnes of renewable hydrogen and eliminate upwards of 3,000 tonnes of emissions each year. Josh Wilson MP (Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy in Australia), together with Mr. Ma Jun, President of LONGi Hydrogen, Mr. Ren Jiang, Sales President of APAC of LONGi Hydrogen, and project partners attended the ground-breaking ceremony, witnessing an important moment in the development of Australia’s largest green hydrogen project which marked a new chapter in the country's energy transition. LONGi Hydrogen provides a total green hydrogen production solution and 2 sets of 1000Nm³/h alkaline electrolyzer for this project. Upon full completion, the Murray Valley Hydrogen Park will become Australia’s largest green hydrogen project, eight times the size of the existing largest green hydrogen project in the country, supplying cleaner energy to approximately 40,000 households and businesses. It is expected to achieve an annual average carbon reduction of up to 3,000 tons, bringing new sustainable economy ideas to the Wodonga local community and continually creating job opportunities in the local market. [#HydrogenProjects] LONGi Hydrogen has successfully shipped four sets of 1000Nm³/h high-current-density medium-pressure alkaline electrolyzer equipment for the first green ammonia pilot project in Uzbekistan. ✨ ✨ The first phase, a 3,000-tonne green ammonia pilot project, has achieved cooperation between ACWA Power, Powerchina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited and LONGi Hydrogen. LONGi Hydrogen provides the total hydrogen production solution with the key equipment for the first phase of the project. Marco Arcelli, ACWA Power CEO, commented: “This project marks a significant milestone in Uzbekistan’s energy history, representing the first phase of our collaboration.
