Thank You, QBE Foundation! We extend great gratitude to the QBE Foundation for its substantial and ongoing support. For a third consecutive year, QBE has generously contributed to our mission, enabling us to continue making a meaningful difference in our community as we work towards an island without homelessness. This year’s donation will fund “HOME for Families,” our housing-first programme for women with children. Located on a property generously provided by the Pembroke Parish Council, this initiative offers safe housing for up to nine mothers and three children per family, giving them a secure foundation to rebuild their lives. Additionally, QBE Re staff went above and beyond, volunteering their time and talents to transform the outdoor space at “Black Circle,” the base for HOME's Housing-First Programme. Their efforts included creating a relaxing outdoor area for residents and staff by installing sunshades, outdoor furniture, painting, and planting. "We are immensely grateful to the QBE Foundation for its generous, ongoing support,” said HOME’s CEO Denise Carey. “QBE’s donation and volunteer efforts have a tangible positive impact on the lives of those we serve."
