The College was created by the Parliament of Bermuda through the passage of the Bermuda College Act in 1974 with the amalgamation of three flourishing institutions: the Bermuda Technical Institute established in 1956, the Bermuda Hotel and Catering College (1965), and the Academic Sixth Form Centre (1967).

Join the presentation and panel discussion tomorrow about Youth Mental Health in Bermuda.🗓️ Bermuda’s youth mental health remains at the forefront of community concerns, and this presentation will provide a platform for presenting the Final Report of Daniel Cavanaugh, a recently-defended PhD researcher on the national study on the mental health of adolescents in Bermuda. His presentation will be supported with a panel discussion of key voices from Bermuda’s mental health services. The national study’s Final Report examines: •Prioritising Prevention and Early Intervention •Fighting Stigma •Improving Access to Services •Reviewing Existing Legislation and Policies ➡️The study engaged over 2,700 students aged 10-19 in partnership with Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB), the Department of Education, and private schools. ✋Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with presenters on the latest data and how the community can move forward.
