As demand for premium Scotch whisky continues to grow, we're investing in the future of the category with new improvement projects at our Aultmore and Macduff Distilleries and our blending and maturation site in southeast Glasgow. Here’s a look at our latest projects: - Poniel Blending and Maturation Centre – We’ve added three new state-of-the-art aging warehouses at our 200-acre site in Glasgow, creating a more efficient design that increases capacity by >15%. - Aultmore Distillery – A multi-million-pound investment includes the introduction of Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR) technology to the distillery, capturing and reusing vapor to improve energy and water efficiency. - Macduff Distillery – Significant site improvements to overhaul the mashing equipment and introduce high gravity mashing which drives both energy and water savings. It’s National Bat Week (Oct 24 - 31)! 🦇 We recently celebrated the 10th edition of the Puerto Rico Bat Festival in partnership with the Puerto Rico Bat Conservation Program. Over 500 people came along to the BACARDÍ® rum distillery in Cataño to learn about the vital role bats play in our ecosystem. 🎉 The festival included educational talks by bat conservation experts, interactive workshops, and fascinating exhibits on local bat species and their habitats. We also inaugurated a dedicated space at Casa BACARDÍ to further educate visitors about the importance of these mammals.
