Hilib(Af Ingiriis : meat; Af Carabi : ar‎) waa jiidhka xayawaanka kaasi oo dadku u quutaan cunto ahaan.[1] Sida caadiga ah, aadamuhu (dadka) waa gebi-quute (Saynis ahaan omnivorous),[2] taasi micnaheedu waa in dadku quutaan hilibka iyo caanaha xayawaanka iyo dhamaan kheyraadka dhirta.[3]

Hilibaha la cuno wee kala duwan yihiin. Hilibka soomaalida cunto, waxaa ka mid ah, hilbaha xalaasha ah, sida Hilibka Lo'da, Geelka,ariga, Idada, Malaayga,doorada iyo Sagaarada.Dadka aduunka ku nool waxaa saaid uugu ah Hilbaha ee cunaan, sida Hilibka Doofaarka, Eyga, Fardaha, yaanyuurta,Dooliga,Masaska,iyo Caaro caaro. Iyo wax badan oo la tiri karin.
