since the latest update something went seriously wrong! articles are shown as if I'm reading them as html. Texts are overlapping photos that are so big anyway to cover the whole screen. That goes the same to the photo of the reporter. (well I thank them for the nice articles though). nontheless the quality of the articles is overall very satisfying!

I've been using the app for a couple of years now and its usability and design seem to worsen with each update. The most recent update was especially bad, please return the option to fully customise the home screen (instead of this weird new option to hide the content of fixed sections). I'm considering to cancel my subscription if this will not be fixed.

We're really sorry you're unhappy with the changes and I've forwarded your message to our development team for consideration as we make further improvements.

Terrible experience lately with the change of the home screen: innumerable sections that I don't care about now take up a lot of the space even when "hidden" and create a broken reading experience. Many links to other Guardian articles open in webview. Dear editors & developers: 1. spend more time on proofreading the articles / running them at least through basic autocorrect tooling, because the number of spelling, grammar and syntax errors is appalling; 2. do UX research, not HIPPO; 3. TEST!
