Help RE:Anime Raise Funds to Finish NARUTO Web Series

RE:Anime has been able to share their live-action version of Naruto in its four Naruto: Climbing Silver mini episodes. These videos are really cool and fans of Naruto should definitely check it out. Now, RE:Anime is asking fans to help raise $15,000 on Indiegogo to help finish the post-production on the fifth and sixth episodes, Naruto: Shikamaru’s Revenge. All of the money goes directly to visual effects and as of writing, they’ve raised 74% of their goal. Sharing his passion for the project, director Nik Shaw says:

This project is not just a film on Youtube, but it is a movement. Lionsgate is currently adapting ‘Naruto’ into live-action. As we all know from previous live-action adaptations like “Death Note”, “The Last Airbender”, “Dragonball” and “Ghost in the Shell”, Hollywood does not understand anime and does not take it seriously.

There is a community of people inspired by the series, and we’re taking a stand to say this is how we want ‘Naruto’ adapted and this is what we see. We won’t take another “Dragonball Evolution” as an answer to what we want.
