Explore gaming with Copilot

Whether you’re looking to tackle puzzles or test your knowledge, Copilot in Microsoft Edge offers a variety of interactive experiences. Simply ask for a game or challenge, and Copilot will guide you through the rules and objectives. Here are some examples:

Trivia

Let Copilot in Microsoft Edge be your quizmaster: Simply enter the prompt “Let’s play trivia” and get ready for Copilot to pick your brain. You can also specify which category you’d like to explore, whether it’s geography, history, music genres, or some other topic. If you want to show off how much you know about American history, for example, try entering “Let’s play trivia about American history.”

Twenty Questions

To get a game of Twenty Questions started, enter the prompt “Let's play twenty questions.” You’ll think of a person, place, object, or something else and Copilot will begin to guess what it is by asking questions. It will start with broad categories and then narrow down its guesses. These guesses will become more detailed and specific, aligned with genres, object categories and uses, and unique characteristics.

With each guess, you can select between automatically generated prompts: “Yes, it is a person/animal/object” or “No, it is not a person/animal/object.” Keep guessing yes or no until Copilot reaches twenty queries, then determine if it’s correctly guessed what you’re thinking of, or if you’ve outwitted your AI-powered competitor.

Word Ladder

Word Ladder is a game where you start with two common words that seem unrelated to each other, then take turns replacing one letter at a time until the two words link up.

In Copilot, type “Let’s play Word Ladder.” You can have Copilot go first (just type “you go first”) or choose what two words you’d like to use. Copilot can also suggest two words to provide a challenge for you. After every prompt, the chat will also provide some suggested words that you can choose to add to the word ladder.

Add limitations to the game by suggesting how many letters to restrict words to, how many steps are required, and other fun modifiers.
