No English? En-0? Do you speak another language?
Ciao Lsj, welcome to the Italian Wikipedia!
Thank you for participating in this community project. We would like to give you some information that may be helpful:
- To ask someone a question in English, you can use the Italian Wikipedia's Embassy (Ambasciata). You could also try the very popular Information desk (Sportello informazioni), in which a passer by user may know English. If you want to find Italian Wikipedians who can speak English, you may browse Categoria:Utenti_en. For other languages, see Wikipedia:Babel/It-0.
- Feel free to use our Babel templates on your user page. For example: "{{Babel|en|it-0}}" if you are a native English speaker, but speak no Italian.
- If you want to request a bot flag, please ask here: request a bot flag. There is also a list of sysops, for technical needs.
- You can change the language of the interface from Italian to English or another language in your preferences.
Editing pages here
- If you want to experiment, we have a sandbox (pagina della prove), like other wikis.
- If you want to make a careful start editing in Italian, try to expand some of our stubs.
- Take care when editing someone else's work. Registered users can change the name of an article by using "sposta". This method of renaming keeps the history (cronologia) of a page intact.
Information in Italian
- More information (in Italian) can be found in our help index page and the wikiquette page.
- The Wikipedia:Bar is the Italian equivalent of the Village Pump on the English Wikipedia. Questions in Italian will be answered the most quickly. To sign messages, use four tildes: ~~~~
Again, welcome!
