Transforming Access to Clean Cooking in Africa We’re thrilled to announce the release of the LPG Roadmap for Africa, a groundbreaking report developed in collaboration with the World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA). This roadmap sets a strategic course to expand access to clean cooking solutions across the continent, addressing one of the most urgent energy and health challenges of our time. Why this matters: At the IEA Clean Cooking Summit in Paris earlier this year, leaders from around the globe united to tackle Africa’s clean cooking crisis. The summit mobilized $2.2 billion in funding and emphasized collaboration between governments, private sectors, and international organizations. This momentum led the WLGA to establish the Cooking For Life Task Force (CFLA) and commission the development of this roadmap.
