Updates

  • Put your best foot forward in the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity and distinguish yourself from the crowd by being one of the first to attain the new Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Service Edge Engineer  certification. https://lnkd.in/gBsqkWin This Specialist-level certification validates that you have the requisite job-ready skills expected of experienced security service edge (SSE) engineers who are responsible for deployment configuration and post-deployment management, configuration, and troubleshooting. Just like all certifications in our rapidly growing portfolio, the SSE Engineer certification was created by a team of highly skilled subject matter experts. The learning path, combined with real-world or on-the-job experience, will equip you with a strong foundation to prepare for the certification exam. Successfully passing the exam and obtaining the certification will demonstrate to your current or prospective employers that you have a highly specific skill set within the SSE domain. But wait, there’s more! In late January, we will be releasing two additional Specialist-level certifications: the Palo Alto Networks Certified Next-Generation Firewall Engineer and the Palo Alto Networks Certified XSIAM Engineer. Stay tuned after the new year for additional information about these new certifications. As we release our new, role-based certification exams, we must continually assess the entirety of our certification catalog and retire legacy certifications that contain content and concepts that have been absorbed into the new framework. To that end, the following three certifications will be retired on January 31, 2025: - Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Entry-level Technician (PCCET) https://lnkd.in/gWtAHWBn - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) https://lnkd.in/gg-2b-iz - Palo Alto Networks Certified Software Firewall Engineer (PCSFE) https://lnkd.in/g6jarPKt Candidates will not be able to take the PCCET, PCNSA, and PCSFE exams after the retirement date; however, all active certifications will remain valid for two years from their date of issue. Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Palo Alto Networks Certification Program. We are fully committed to providing you with a means to enhance your job-ready knowledge and skills in hopes that it may open doors to exciting new career opportunities. Let’s grow together!
