Meet Kate, a sweet mare who’s overcome a tough start.❤️ Kate came to us emaciated and with untreated EPM, but she’s now gaining weight and thriving! At 15-17 years old, Kate has solid ground manners and is making great progress with training. She had her first ride on 12/17, and it went beautifully—she was calm, soft, and responsive. Kate did great with the basics and showed no signs of bucking or resistance. With more time and miles, she’ll be an excellent trail or ranch horse. She’s still building confidence with some tasks, but with routine, we know she’ll continue to improve. She’s ready for a forever home where she can continue her journey and become the horse she’s meant to be.
