📣 Project Spotlight: JFK Terminal 8 | Baggage Handling System Optimization As part of the JFK Terminal 8 Expansion Program, Introba’s Baggage Handling Systems team provided Program Management Services for American Airlines, playing a key role in enhancing operations at one of New York’s busiest terminals. The $13B capital improvement initiative included a terminal extension and a new baggage system to accommodate British Airways, streamlining long-haul and transcontinental operations. Working alongside Siemens and Brock Solutions, our team ensured seamless coordination, design collaboration, and adherence to TSA and The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey standards—overcoming challenges to deliver a successful project on schedule. 📣 Project Spotlight: Princeton University | Geoexchange Central Plant As part of Princeton University’s commitment to net-zero carbon emissions, Introba is delivering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and design analytic services for the Geoexchange Central Plant at the Lake Campus in West Windsor, NJ. At the heart of the project is the TIGER CUB (Thermally Integrated Geothermal Energy Resource Central Utility Building), an innovative solution delivering cost-efficient, reliable heating and cooling infrastructure. Designed to align with Princeton’s Infrastructure Master Plan, TIGER CUB integrates a vertical closed-loop geoexchange system and thermal energy storage to optimize energy performance and sustainability. Working closely with Princeton, Introba is mitigating project risks to ensure delivery on time and within budget while helping the university achieve its carbon reduction goals. Meet Kamila Haselman, LEED AP, one of 21 delegation members set to explore circularity in Copenhagen and Malmö in April 2025! 🌍 Kamila is a Sustainability Consultant based in San Diego at Introba, an engineering firm committed to minimizing environmental impact in the built environment. In her role, Kamila develops and implements sustainability strategies that promote resource efficiency for clients in the green building sector. Her work includes creating tools and communication resources that empower architects, developers, and engineers to integrate sustainability and wellness requirements into their projects. She also provides guidance and support to clients in advocating for sustainable policies and practices to craft impactful strategies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks. Her focus areas include zero-carbon initiatives, healthy materials, and climate resilience.
