It's also a good example of how we work directly with a doctor who is investing in their own building. Our architecture studio, Interstruct Design, was able to modernize a tired building with a mansard roof and dated aesthetic. We opened a corner that now features storefront glazing, aluminum awnings and steel framing to achieve a modern look with clean lines, setting a new standard on Lee Road. Orlando Orthopaedic Center is a repeat client and we’re especially proud of this project, a new mall-to-medical-office building adaptive reuse. This innovative project transforms 17,000 SF of formerly shuttered retail space into a MOB that includes a full imaging suite with two X-rays and 1 MRI. It is a full #designbuild project by Interstruct Design + Build featuring our in-house architecture studio, Interstruct Design. Some key features include adding an external storefront adjacent to parking as well as internal access to Oviedo Mall. A client contracted Interstruct's architecture division, Interstruct Design, to provide conceptual designs for a small-scale mixed-use project on a single lot on Corrine Drive in the Audubon Park Garden District.
