Speaking at InfoSec World used to be a staple annual event for me, but it's been several years since I've been here and wasn't sure what to expect. Things usually change a lot when a larger organization acquires an event. I have to say, I'm really impressed! Great content, great size, great format, agenda, great attendees and a great vibe overall! Sunday I taught the debut class of CISO Launch and that was far more rewarding and fun than I could have imagined (y'all are awesome). Monday I shared a little bit about the immediate risks of Wi-Fi to critical infrastructure. The room was huge but everyone was engaged and that made it fun! it was great to see people, catch up, and meet new friends! Plus, TINY LIZARDS everywhere and EPCOT food and wine festival was happening. Jonathan Davis, Chuck Kesler, Ira Winkler , Olivia Rose , Keren de Via , Bryson 🦄 Bort , Kevin Johnson , Britiney Tackett , Andrew Hay , Amy Bogac , Kristina Tanaka , Chris Ancharski in absentia Bill Brenner we missed you greatly ❤️

This week I attended InfoSec World. I started the week attending Jennifer Minella’s one day CISO Launch workshop, which helps IT Leaders who are transitioning into security focused leadership. I am always impressed with the breadth and depth of information and resources JJ is able to cram into her training. This one day workshop was no different. I sat in several great sessions, including Kevin Johnson’s discussing modern pentesting and Ira Winkler considering the efficacy of identifying vulnerable users based on psychological traits. I chatted with a lot of vendors in the expo hall. Some companies have really interesting products, utilizing ML and AI to identify and highlight security risk for their users. (It was also great running into Perry Correll.) Most importantly, I spoke with a lot of brilliant people. I feel incredibly lucky to chat with and learn from some of the best in the industry! Thanks to the InfoSec World team for a great event.

Just wrapped up three great days at InfoSec World! First time back at this conference since 2018, and I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it. I was honored to be invited to be a speaker, and I had a very engaged group for my Bug Bounty Case Study talk this morning. Thank you to all who attended! I was also able to attend many other great talks over the past few days, and I especially want to call out and thank Dr. Abbie Maroño, PhD, Jennifer Minella, Chris Romeo, and Andrew Hay for their excellent presentations - I learned a lot from all of you! I also hate that I missed seeing my friend Olivia Rose's opening keynote on Monday morning due to my poor travel planning. If you haven't been to InfoSec World before, put it on your calendar for next year: October 27-29 at Disney's Coranado Springs.

🏃🏃 We captured a few pictures of the Stealth Running Team in their totally rad '80s outfits at the InfoSec World Fun Run this morning. Nothing wrong with a little bit of a flashback to the 80s to capture that bodacious style. Missed the run? Be sure to grab a headband at our booth. Limited supply! (Apologies for the poor picture quality. It was pretty early in the morning, after all! 😅) #FunRun #80sFashion #EventFun #CyberSecurity #stealthrunningteam
